will and i traveled down to manhattan during july to celebrate my BFF lynnieloo's birthday. we had such a great night!!!

first we started off going to a mexican restaurant and then we went back to lynnie's apt to cut the birthday cake!

aside from my family, i will miss lynnie & mikala the most when i leave. they have been my best friends for so long, i don't know what i will do without them :-( but i'm glad that we got these moments together. i have been really trying to cherish the time i spend with my them before i leave because i do not know when i will see them again. i love you both so much!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't type about it anymore or i will start crying ;-(

i realized i forgot to post about my valentine's day and birthday celebration!

since my birthday was on a monday (feb 16th), i kind of celebrated valentine's day and my birthday in reverse this year. on friday the 13th, will and i traveled down to lynda's place in westport to hang out with lynda, ryan, michelle and katie. lynda surprised me with a birthday cake!

it was an awesome and low key birthday which is absolutely what i wanted this year...i don't need anything fancy, just my best friends!

we got a hotel room nearby that has a indoor pool and spent all day & night there!

we didn't want to dress up for dinner and we didn't have a reservation anyways so will took me to olympia diner for our v-day dinner! it was not romantic at all but it didn't really matter cuz we had mozzarella sticks and other fried goodness.

will bought me wall-e and harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban and harry potter and the goblet of fire for my combined bday & vday gift (he also paid for the hotel room). oh yeah, and he got me all these organic gourmet chocolates that they make at whole foods. i had this one that had soft caramel inside and salt on top, it was the best chocolate i have ever had! if you have a whole foods near you, seriously go and try one of them! sooooo tasty!

oh yeah and i can't tell you what i got will for his v-day present! ;-)

i turned the christmas tree in our bedroom into a valentine's day tree!

my sister brianne came home for my actual birthday on monday and i finally got a chance to give her the obama hat i got at the inauguration. my mom got me an awesome ice cream cake - i'm a sucker for those chocolate crunchies! my mom also got me a cute necklace and brianne got me a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble which i will be using to buy Twilight when it comes out later this month!!!

and the best present of all were the flowers & balloon that my BFF salvatore sent me at work! it made me so happy! but also sad that he wasn't here to celebrate my birthday with me...oh well, maybe i'll just have to celebrate my birthday in disneyworld next year!

a couple weeks ago, one of my oldest & dearest friends got married to her longtime boyfriend. this was a big deal for two reasons. (1) they have been dating since 10th grade in high school, which means they have been together for a little over ten years!!!! and (2) lynda is the first of my friends to get married!

it was a gorgeous day for a wedding. the sun was shining and not a drop of rain fell to the ground. the ceremony at the church was beautiful (i kind of kept it together - only cried a handful of times) and the reception was tons of fun. it was an outdoor wedding held at the lyman orchard golf course in middlefield, connecticut. the full moon came out to glow on lynda & ryan's union!

lynda is one of my favorite people on this earth and i'm so happy that she found someone that compliments her perfectly. i know that they will have a happy marriage because they have been partners to each other for so long already. i also hope that they will start having babies soon (wink wink nudge nudge)!

so last weekend, william and i got all dolled up to attend my good friends lynda and ryan's engagement party. i worked really hard to get the perfect dress and i even got my hair DID for the occasion. i had such an amazing time! the food was divine, will adored the open bar, and we both had so much fun dancing the night away!!! it was a spectacular night!
