Out of anyone in your address book, with whom would you most like to have lunch today?

my best friend sal who lives waaaaaaaaaay too far away from me! i haven't seen him in two years and if plane ticket costs keep rising, i probably won't see him for a long, long time.

What's your favorite time of day and why?

6:30PM on weekdays! thats the time that my boyfriend gets home from work and the fun can officially begin!

although sometimes its 7:00PM when he rides his bike to work because it takes a little longer for him to get home. a small sacrifice that i can live with if it means we are paying less on gas.

i don't have a particular favorite time for the weekends...although i *do* dread the evening hours on sunday. i hate thinking about going back to another full week of work. i also sometimes have sudden panic attacks...but then i, thankfully, remember that i'm not in school anymore and i don't have any homework to get done! i wonder how long it will take me to shed the school-guilt i automatically start feeling on sundays...

Love it or hate it, many of you lost an hour of sleep last night due to Daylight Saving Time? Worth It? Do you like it more/less now that Daylight Saving Time occurs earlier (and later) in the year?

i actually do not mind daylight savings time. it has not always been that way but it began when i started my current job. i leave my house around 6:45AM every morning to get into work by 7AM. for the past five or so months, i have been lucky enough to see the sunrise on the way to work. just in the past few weeks, the sun has been rising earlier and i haven't had a chance to see it anymore. i was just going to sigh and start looking forward to next year when i can see the sunrise again...and then i remembered about daylight savings time! thanks to DST, i can now look forward to seeing the sunrises for a little bit longer. i think this will make me appreciate them more now. its tough going to work so early but it helps to start the day by looking at such a glorious sight.

my valentine's day unofficially started last friday because i could wait no longer to give will his present. i went out and bought him a wii two weeks earlier and it had been burning up a hole in my closet. i couldn't WAIT to see his face when he opened it so i made him open it up early!

i wrapped the wii in a bigger box so that he would not suspect what the package was and then weighed it down with his old chemistry and calculus books. this is him looking bewildered as to why his books are in the box. he later told me he thought that i had re-wrapped his books in some sort of sick joke to try to make him study for the GREs, lol!

the look on will's face when he discovered what i bought him - priceless!!!! my cute nerdy boyfriend has been waiting for this day since the wii was launched!

then on wednesday (day before v-day), i waited as long as i could to open my own present...that means i opened it at 10:00PM, a day early (as you can see, patience is not a virtue in our household). will kept hinting at me that my present was something red. i thought of a million different red things but i did not guess the right thing!

Netflix

a subscription to netflix!!! YAY!!!! we have been talking for awhile about getting netflix since we downgraded our cable. not only that, he got us two christian bale movies to watch this weekend (!!!) and a romantic movie to watch on v-day!

French Kiss

french kiss is one of my favorite romantic comedies! will had never seen it but he remembered that i always talked about it. so we celebrated the night by eating brie cheese and french bread and sipping on some special "champagne" (since i don't drink alcohol, i mixed raspberry ginger-ale with raspberries). it was très romantique!

all in all, it was a wonderful and memorable valentine's day and i'm so happy that i got to celebrate it with my handsome and thoughtful boyfriend! i love you baby!!!!
