madonna performed with justin and timbaland last night at the roseland ballroom in nyc. man, i wish i could have had a ticket to this concert!!!! this shit is HAWT!!!!!!!!!!
i have no idea in which order she sang these so sorry if they are out of order!
(its weird b/c i was ready to give a pretty poor review of her new album hard candy but these performances kind of redeemed the album to me...the songs def sound better live and with a dance crew AND i can see how they will be mixed with her other hits to make them even hotter. can't wait till she goes on tour again!)
this is it folks!!!!! the new britney video for break the ice has been officially released! i signed onto myspace this morning and read britney's new myspace blog about the video. here is what she had up:

my review of the video: wow! i really like this video! i loveeeee this style of animation and its great to see that kind of intensity brought to a britney music video. it kind of reminds me of the toxic storyline so maybe it is a continuation of that? when i first heard this video was going to be animated, i automatically thought of the animated segment of madonna's video music. this is definitley more sophisticated then madonna's video (oh man, i just remembered madonna had two animated music videos - this one too!).
here's a description of the video from wikipedia:
"Directed by Robert Hales, the music video of "Break the Ice" serves as an animated sequel to Spears' 2004 hit "Toxic". Credited with coming up with the concept, the video represents Spears trying to destroy her old image, her clones and the industry that has become her into what she is now (the men in suits represent the industry). The video ends with the words "to be continued..." with a hidden message as to what the follow-up outcome will be."
well, that explains a lot! thats pretty cool that britney came up with the concept herself. i'm pretty impressed. and i'm also really excited to see what single they will drop for the continuation of this story.
the only critical thing i have to say is that this IS my favorite song off the blackout album, mostly because i can always picture britney doing a sick-ass dance routine to the song. thats how i always pictured it in my mind when i listen to the song so its kind of disappointing to me to see that no dancing happened. but maybe she will incorporate a great dance to it for her tour...(crossing my fingers that she actually goes on tour!)

What were your top 10 favorite songs or albums of 2007?
Audio: What's your favorite carol or holiday song?
i spent all day yesterday downloading christmas songs at work. i swear, i'm the only person in this world who can't wait for the holiday season to start so i have an excuse to listen to christmas music. my boyfriend has been sick of christmas music since they started playing it on thanksgiving...sucks for him!! :-)
here are some my favorites!this 98 degrees song is probably my favorite "new" christmas song of all time...get back together boys!!!
and for my last song choice, i am including this video my boyfriend found online that features the smashing pumpkins singing christmastime...the vid is hilarious to me, esp. when billy corgan is sitting in the window, looking all melancholy...LOVES IT!

It's dedication time. What song are you sending out, and who is it dedicated to?
i'm sending out heaven on earth by britney spears to my one, my only...my william.
britney's new album blackout is officially released today! october 30th marks this joyous occasion in all of britney's fans' lives!!! i know that i for one have been waiting a looooooong time for this moment to arrive! and i'm so very glad that its finally here!
it has not been easy for our dear britney these past couple years. she's not out of the dark waters yet but i am hoping that this is the start of a new beginning for her. when all is said and done, it's all about the music for me. i've been catching a free listen of her album all week on mtv.com and i have to say that i really and truly enjoy it. if you are a diehard britney fan (like me!) then you will love it and cry tears of joy that your britney has managed to find her way back to us.
if you are one of those people that JUST likes britney's on-air hits then this might not be the album for you. you will probably like some of her songs but not all of them. like on her other albums, she includes some cheesy numbers on there...but i happen to love the cheesiness so its all good! i have to say that i've really been jamming to every single song on the album and i find myself getting the lyrics in my head or busting a dance move to some. it's very catchy and there are no ballads on the album at all which i think is a great thing since i love the dance music!
so please, if you love britney, go out and buy her album and support her! she needs all the support she can get these days!!! let's show all those haters!!!
