i realized i never put up pictures from my night out on the town at the polo club a few weeks back!
i invited a bunch of my friends out to the polo club and a lot of people rsvp'd but then backed out at the last minute for various reasons. i originally planned the night so that mandirigma could break her polo cherry but she got sick that night and couldn't make it (don't worry girl, there's always next time!). it worked out alright though because michelle&katie&britt came and also my good friend luka who i have not seen since last summer! it was really good to catch up with luka and dance the night away with my friends!

another great night at the polo club!
today is not only britney's 27th birthday...it is also the day that her sixth studio album Circus drops!
britney dropped by good morning america this morning and performed two songs! check out britney performing womanizer right here:
this is the fourth time i've seen brit-brit perform womanizer...and the fourth time must be the charm! maybe its because she has felt more comfortable performing it after the weekend...whatever the case, doesn't she look amazing?!?!
move over madonna...the queen of pop has taken back her crown!
omgggggg i am squeeeeeeing over this!
britney joined madonna on stage last night at dodger's stadium in L.A.'s Dodger's Stadium. it was reported earlier that justin and britney were going to perform together with madonna but that didn't happen. instead, britney performed one song with madonna, while justin performed other songs with madonna (you can find his performance with madonna all over youtube). britney and justin never actually performed together. :::sigh::: i cherish the days when the pop prince and princess were still together!
these are all the random videos that i've managed to find that documented britney and madonna together. they are all kind of crappy quality but this is the best i could find! the last video is the one with the best quality.
i haven't done a britney update in awhile...mostly because i've been simulatneously lazy AND busy at work. but i got a couple of positive news items for ya!
this is old news but i guess i should document it anyways. apparently, madonna asked britney to film a short video that will play on madonna's upcoming tour. luckily we have things like the internet which will guarantee that i can see the britney footage since i refuse to shell out $300 for madge tickets. seriously, what gives her the nerve to charge that much money? its fucking ridiculous. show a little consideration for your fans, sheesh!
i would prob feel much sadder about not going to madonna's concert but 1) i already went to the confessions tour (thanks lynda!) and 2) her last album is ten times better then candy shop. ok, why am i talking so much about madonna? this post is supposed to be about britney!
anyhooo
last saturday, britney made a surprise appearance at a fundraiser put on by jenny mccarthy and jim carrey! it was a autism charity called Generation Rescue. first off, how lucky is jim carrey??? he has two gorgeous blondes on his arms! i have always loved jenny mccarthy and its so awesome how she is raising awareness about autism. and to have britney show up to this event must have been great publicity for such a good cause! not only does brit-brit look hot but shes doing some good as well.
and i saved the best news for last...
britney has been back in the studio working on her next album!!!!! there is no release date and it sounds like britney is just playing around in the studio right now but whatever, its great news to me! i would not expect her to start her new album so soon after her last one but i obviously don't mind. YAYYYYY!
madonna performed with justin and timbaland last night at the roseland ballroom in nyc. man, i wish i could have had a ticket to this concert!!!! this shit is HAWT!!!!!!!!!!
i have no idea in which order she sang these so sorry if they are out of order!
(its weird b/c i was ready to give a pretty poor review of her new album hard candy but these performances kind of redeemed the album to me...the songs def sound better live and with a dance crew AND i can see how they will be mixed with her other hits to make them even hotter. can't wait till she goes on tour again!)
this is it folks!!!!! the new britney video for break the ice has been officially released! i signed onto myspace this morning and read britney's new myspace blog about the video. here is what she had up:

my review of the video: wow! i really like this video! i loveeeee this style of animation and its great to see that kind of intensity brought to a britney music video. it kind of reminds me of the toxic storyline so maybe it is a continuation of that? when i first heard this video was going to be animated, i automatically thought of the animated segment of madonna's video music. this is definitley more sophisticated then madonna's video (oh man, i just remembered madonna had two animated music videos - this one too!).
here's a description of the video from wikipedia:
"Directed by Robert Hales, the music video of "Break the Ice" serves as an animated sequel to Spears' 2004 hit "Toxic". Credited with coming up with the concept, the video represents Spears trying to destroy her old image, her clones and the industry that has become her into what she is now (the men in suits represent the industry). The video ends with the words "to be continued..." with a hidden message as to what the follow-up outcome will be."
well, that explains a lot! thats pretty cool that britney came up with the concept herself. i'm pretty impressed. and i'm also really excited to see what single they will drop for the continuation of this story.
the only critical thing i have to say is that this IS my favorite song off the blackout album, mostly because i can always picture britney doing a sick-ass dance routine to the song. thats how i always pictured it in my mind when i listen to the song so its kind of disappointing to me to see that no dancing happened. but maybe she will incorporate a great dance to it for her tour...(crossing my fingers that she actually goes on tour!)
just saw on perez's site that kylie has a new video for her song in my arms!!!!
this is one of my favorite songs off her new album X. i just downloaded the album last week and have been listening to it non-stop. for some reason, the chorus of this song reminds me of a japanese pop song. the video is pretty hot but her and those boys dancing in those circles reminded me of another video...
What's the best music documentary or concert film you've seen?
