will and i traveled down to manhattan during july to celebrate my BFF lynnieloo's birthday. we had such a great night!!!
first we started off going to a mexican restaurant and then we went back to lynnie's apt to cut the birthday cake!
this is the underwear i got from the britney spears store for lynnie's present - i bought a pair for myself and for mikala too (early bday present for mikala, her bday is in september).

i realized i forgot to post about my valentine's day and birthday celebration!
since my birthday was on a monday (feb 16th), i kind of celebrated valentine's day and my birthday in reverse this year. on friday the 13th, will and i traveled down to lynda's place in westport to hang out with lynda, ryan, michelle and katie. lynda surprised me with a birthday cake!
it was a funfetti cake with chocolate pudding layers! it was sooo delish and the decorating job was fantastic - thanks for making it lynnie loo!

oh yeah and i can't tell you what i got will for his v-day present! ;-)

man i just realized i haven't done one shameless photo for the month of november! let's see if these make up for it...
a couple weeks ago, one of my oldest & dearest friends got married to her longtime boyfriend. this was a big deal for two reasons. (1) they have been dating since 10th grade in high school, which means they have been together for a little over ten years!!!! and (2) lynda is the first of my friends to get married!
it was a gorgeous day for a wedding. the sun was shining and not a drop of rain fell to the ground. the ceremony at the church was beautiful (i kind of kept it together - only cried a handful of times) and the reception was tons of fun. it was an outdoor wedding held at the lyman orchard golf course in middlefield, connecticut. the full moon came out to glow on lynda & ryan's union!
lynda is one of my favorite people on this earth and i'm so happy that she found someone that compliments her perfectly. i know that they will have a happy marriage because they have been partners to each other for so long already. i also hope that they will start having babies soon (wink wink nudge nudge)!
i meant to post about this earlier but i've been lazy this week. i made plans with my friend michelle to go down to her house last saturday to hang out and play some karaoke revolutions. so the boyfriend and i hop in our car and travel to her house. i knock on the door and hear COME IN! i open the door and lo and behold! a handful of my closest friends are in michelle's house screaming SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my birthday was the week earlier so i had no idea that anyone was planning anything for me! it was a total shock! i really didn't want to make a big deal out of my birthday this year but i'm really glad that everyone conspired together to make the party happen. i had such a good time on saturday and it was so nice to see my friends united together to celebrate little ol' me! we spent the whole night laughing and drinking and i still got to play karaoke revolutions! it was amazing! my friends kick ass, especially michelle for organizing the whole event. she is the greatest BFF a girl could ever have!
